We’ve all been there, you rush around the house trying to get everyone out the door. You have probably forgotten to eat and you grab your mug full of coffee. The day starts in a rush.

The morning continues as you get stuck in the car on the way to work, feeling the stress of running behind. Your pulse increases, you get edgy and irritable and before you know it you are flush and upset. Anxiety creeps in as you feel like you will be late. You park and fly into work. The days ends just as it begins only this time you get to your family feeling fatigued and frazzled.

This is no way to start or end your day. With a few simple tips, you can preserve your stress and your mental health.

Whether your commute is long or short, your mental health may be compromised due to stress. The good news is that there are some very simple things we can do to reduce our stress loads and anxiety due to that traffic commute.
