Starting and maintaining your own business takes time, energy and most importantly motivation. Whether you have a brick and mortar business, an online business or even a network marketing business it can be tough to keep up on personal motivation.

Motivation is something that we don’t generally talk about because in the early stages of business ownership we are driven by the excitement alone. Over time, however, that excitement tends to dip down and fatigue sets in.

I have owned businesses since I was 23 years old. I have had a juice bar, 3 daycare centers and now am in private practice. I have to keep changing and growing to avoid the burnout and fatigue that contribute to a lack of motivation.

It is important to work on your mental health as a business owner to keep that motivation in check. Recently I was featured in Business.com for their article on business motivation.
