As the political season is upon us I tend to see more and more people feeling hopeless or helpless for themselves and for the country as a whole. Often this is the time where depression and anxiety are at an all time high.

Managing these acute depressive and anxiety symptoms is very important to your overall health and wellness so you can show up to election day and vote for your candidate of choice.

What I have learned is that it doesn’t matter your political party or candidate of choice, what matters is how you handle your own emotions around the election.
