What you might not know about me…
I am fiercely loyal to my family. I have built my life around my family and will do just about anything for them. As a mom of all adult kids (three of them), a grandmother and a wife, I’m pretty busy staying connected and loving each of them hard! I also know that my life is deserving of love, care and internal kindness. That’s a lesson that I learned the hard way. I was once so wrapped up in my work and my family that I didn’t make much space for me. That is all changing. Finding some balance in my life is the key to my own vitality!
Here are my professional credentials…
Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology, PhD focusing on Addiction Studies
- Masters of Science, Counseling Psychology, MS

- Mental Health & Addiction Nutrition Coach
- Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach
- Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider
- In addition to being a Brain Health Consultant, I am the host of the edgy and inspiring national podcast series, The Gaslit Truth Podcast, where we whistle-blow the mental health industry – because you deserve better!
My Story
Most days, you’ll find me sitting in my comfiest chair, sipping freshly brewed coffee and diving into work. I absolutely love what I do! I’m a Brain Health Consultant, and my passion is helping women like you improve their mental well-being, conquer anxiety and depression, and become the best version of themselves—without relying on psychiatric medication or endless talk therapy.
But my journey to becoming a Brain Health Consultant wasn’t always so clear or easy.
After I was prescribed an antidepressant as a “preventative” measure for postpartum depression (which I now know isn’t even ethical), I never imagined the impact it would have on my life. What started as a well-intended effort to protect myself from depression spiraled into a much darker reality. I not only slipped deeper into depression, but I also started losing memories, feeling disconnected from the people around me, and—most painfully—losing touch with who I really was. The medication made me feel numb, and as I relied on it more and more, I felt myself drifting further from the life I wanted. When I tried to get off the medication, I faced withdrawal that was even more intense than I expected. It was a wake-up call—a sign that I needed to make a change.
This experience led me to discover a different path—one where I could improve my mental health and well-being without medications. And that’s what fuels my passion today: helping women reclaim their mental clarity, rediscover their true selves, and break free from the cycle of dependency on medication.
I Love Serving Others By…
Finding the root of their issues so they can genuinely feel better. It’s the most rewarding aspect of my work. I’ve always felt that the mental health industry falls flat and fails more than it succeeds, leaving many without the support they truly need. While many mental health practitioners may fall short, I succeed in providing the effective support and solutions you deserve!
Helping others is in my blood; I come from a family of public servants, so it was ingrained in me to serve those around me. Thankfully, I can do just that by combining functional medicine and psychology.
I am fortunate that my passion for helping others has translated into a thriving practice! If you’re ready to take control of your mental health, let’s connect and start your journey to a happier, healthier brain today!
Nothing is as important as a life well lived!
The majority of my life I’ve been super busy! Sometimes a good busy, sometimes not so much. It wasn’t until anxiety and adrenal fatigue ravaged my life that I had to make some BIG changes, quickly! Those changes came just in time for me to really enjoy life as a mom, a grandma, an entrepreneur, a wife and most importantly as ME!
I feel it’s important for you to know that I’m just like you! Here are some pictures of my life and the people I love without a filter, without touch-ups, without a net!
